Countdown to Barcelona: Team Germany Heads to the Euros

The final week has arrived. After months of training, regattas, and preparation, the German Open Skiff team is now en route to Barcelona for the 2025 European Championships. Families are packing trailers, sailors are checking gear, and by Friday, the full delegation will have arrived at the venue.

Germany will be represented by 15 sailors, competing in the U13 and U17 classes:

Guiding the team are Jannik Schwarzer and Rigo de Nijs, coordinating logistics and support as the sailors prepare for their final challenge of the season.

By Friday, the harbor will be alive with flags, boats, and anticipation. For Team Germany, this is more than a regatta—it’s the culmination of a season’s effort, and the beginning of their biggest race yet.
